The existing building is reused to house a nursery and four apartments. In order to reveal the existing structure and to create an additional access to the nearby park, the left part of the building is completely demolished. This creates a large exterior passage and enables the building to make the most of a south orientation.
A small section of 1.5m is constructed along the entire length of the site, in order to maximise the interior spaces and to rebuild the façade in the most proficient way. The entrances to the nursery and the apartments are all situated along the street, providing easy access. The interior layout allows all spaces to make use of the south orientation.
